FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I join classes if I have no prior dance experience?

Yes, of course. Dancing is a fun and enjoyable activity for all ages and levels. Our beginners level dance courses are specially designed for students with no dance background. These programmes will introduce the essential dance techniques and movements.

We're here to help!

What is the best class to start with for a beginner?

All our beginners classes are structured for students who have little or no dance experience. You do not need to worry over which particular dance to choose, since everyone will be learning the basic movements and timings. Usually, students prefer Beginners Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Salsa, Jive and Waltz as their first course.

Can I join classes without a dance partner?

Yes. All our dance classes do not require that you come with a partner. Just relax, enjoy the class and interact with your classmates!

Note that there is also a Solo Ladies course series for ladies who prefer to learn more individually-tailored dance choreographies.

Do you conduct private group classes, or classes held outside the dance school?

Yes, to both. Please contact us for more details should you wish to arrange a private/ corporate group class in the venue of your choice. This is also subject to the schedule availability of the instructor.

What should I wear to class? Where can I buy dance shoes?

You can always dress in something comfortable and casual. To help your balance and movement, a pair of dance shoes is essential. We sell comfortable and affordable dance shoes in our studio. Our staff will be able to assist you in selecting the shoes best suited for your needs.

Do you recommend Private or Group Lesson for my first dance class?

This is your own personal choice. Some students prefer the comfort and privacy of an individual lesson, which is more customised to your learning pace and needs. Some prefer to take group lessons as it is a great way to learn among friends and classmates.
